Founded in 2015, Newok crafts a vibrant lifestyle for the youth, showcasing trends through innovative thinking. From streetwear and accessories to independent concept stores, Newok embodies a unique style. In 2021, the brand launched the "Singularity" market concept and a new visual logo, symbolizing endless imagination and pioneering spirit.
We believe in achieving the impossible, and cherishing moments of excellence, exploration, and innovation. Our journey is just beginning, and our destiny lies among the stars.
Newok has five stores across China, located in Xi'an, Chengdu, Shanghai, and Changsha.
Project Brief
This footwear project builds on our vision of witnessing the singularity point, symbolizing ultimate success. Inspired by spaceship engines for momentum and star elements from our brand logo, this design serves as a vehicle to propel you towards future achievements, combining dynamic energy with iconic style.
Fashion-forward individuals who appreciate a blend of retro and futuristic styles, and who are driven by ambition and a desire to stand out. They seek footwear that not only looks good but also tells a story and aligns with their personal journey toward success.

Our client has chosen option 2 as the direction moving forward. They wish to emphasize the elements of the star and engine on the back heel.
To achieve this, I will highlight the star shape on the upper part of the shoe, blending it with dynamic motion-inspired designs and utilizing various materials and finishes. This approach will create a visually striking and cohesive design that aligns with our client's vision.
MoodBoard & Colorway
The color and material design for this project are inspired by the process of chasing the singularity point, with each colorway representing a unique aspect of this journey.
Pioneer:
This colorway represents the user as a pioneer, full of inspiration from deserts, sand, and natural elements. It embodies the spirit of exploration and adventure, drawing from earthy tones and organic textures.
Gear Up:
Inspired by machinery, this colorway reflects the industrial aesthetic of steel, pipes, and mechanical elements. It conveys a sense of preparation and readiness, utilizing metallic finishes and robust materials.
Momentum:
Drawing from engines, Formula 1, and retro sports elements, this colorway captures the dynamic energy of movement and speed. It features vibrant hues and sleek materials, emphasizing the power of forward motion.
Sprint:
Inspired by the burst of energy from an engine and the burning hot metal at the edge of a jet port, this colorway represents intense acceleration and performance. It combines fiery tones with high-contrast finishes to evoke a sense of urgency and intensity.
